Too much.
Too much story to tell. Too much buried pain. Too much work ahead. Too much responsibility for the hundreds of people that I have built relationships with as The Ruins grows. The stories we are unearthing about The Banning #2 Coal Mine and its legacy are most definitely, too much.
I am adjusting to living in a state of too much. And learning to be grateful for it.
The Jeffrey Luce Sager Memorial Bridge is now a reality. Hundreds of visitors have crossed it. Its very existence is a defining moment. It changes everything.
The men, pictured above, are the quiet kind who make things happen. Operators, excavators and engineers. They did it all.
But, as is so often the case, behind the great men is usually a powerhouse of a woman.
