Cat, Coal, Cabin
A very quick hello from Rachel
Good morning dear reader,
Today will be the slightest brush of a hello and a few simple announcements. Robert and I are off to spend a day of cabin work over the hill.
This does not mean I don’t have many things to share. But I may have to wait until tommorrow. This is what I am thinking about today…
the final edits of Ruins State of Mind: Building a Cathedral to Coal. I met with my editor (yes, I get a genuine thrill from saying that out loud…my editor.) The book is getting closer to something you can hold in your hands.
juggling the busy Ruins tour calendar this summer. Check out the shiny new addition to our schedule this year. Yes, you can take a mini-mosaic lesson after a tour now, in The Ruins itself. If you are someone who is not ready to leave after the 1.5 hour tour, this is your perfect solution.
Beowulf. Yes, I think about him a lot these days. The kitten, not the ancient monster slayer. See below for his latest glamour shots. He is officially in love with me and I have no shame in reveling in it. Eye contact with slow blinks, aggressive purrs, belly rubs, and a dead weight kind of sleeping on me that fills us both with contentment.
There is so much more to share but I need to go hold the ladder for my cabin builder.
Love,
