Welcome to the first installment of Dynamic Not Static, a series of posts that will be giving you peeks into the brains of thinkers, artists, and writers. Interesting people who are not me. Seattle artist, Kelley Knickerbocker, who has several Ruins installations under her belt, is one of the scrappiest scrap hounds in the mosaic world. She will cut up anything that has the good fortune to get in the way of her hammer and hardie. Stone, slag, ceramic, a chunk of who knows what that she pulled from the junkyard. She can turn paper towels into fine art; and she has.
