About this time last year, I got a cold call from Robert Tinnell, saying he had heard about The Ruins and would I be up for inviting his students in to film as part of their senior project. My enthusiastic yes led to a fascinating and intense few weeks of being surrounded by high tech cameras, microphones, and a different kind of creative process. A little taste of Hollywood in Whitsett!

We had a ball. Even the chickens made it into the movie. It’s still in the editing process, but we hope to see it on some kind of big screen …
