And I don’t mean the pharmaceutical kind, although that is also true.
Red. Blue. Black. White.
It’s not just the binary choice between the red pill and the blue pill anymore. You remember the famous Matrix scene. Neo is given the choice of the red pill that lets him see the world behind the curtain. The red pill is the braver choice that stands for truth and the unknown. Or he can take the blue pill and wake up later in his tiny, anonymous apartment and not remember that there was ever a choice at all. The message is that the red is the courageous choice. The blue is for the person who chooses safety over all else.
