Well… that happened fast.
The Ruins Quilt raffle sold out in about twelve hours. I honestly did not expect that, and I’m deeply grateful to everyone who jumped in and bought a ticket in support of getting the book published.
100 tickets total, with a handful of people buying more than one. And two wild women buy a LOT more. So every ticket was assigned a number from 1–100.
Rather than pull a name out of a hat, I decided to do the drawing with a random number generator so everything would be completely transparent. I filmed the moment it chose the winning number.
The quilt also insisted on making an appearance.
Here we go….

I have been informed that Roz and Jim plan to make the next Ruins Quilt on purpose. They have photos of The Stone Quilt and The Picassiette Quilt and are already laying plans for which one to start first. Amazing, the energy behind this project.
